Rules for Spring - players cannot back up for teams on the one game day ie. M6 players cannot play M6 & M5 on the one night, but they can back up for M3 on the Saturday. Please ensure you follow this.
SYDNEY SUPER LEAGUE GAME - 5 November @ DAWNY
Our 1st Grade Men and Women play the first round SSL game V WPNSW STP team at Dawny on Friday, 5 November - Women 7pm & Men 8:15pm.
BBQ and bar will be running. Come down and join the ambience. Some helpers on the BBQ would be greatly appreciated.
PRESENTATION OF AWARDS
On Sunday, 31 October in Elkington Park - the 2019/20 and the 2020/21 from 2pm - 4pm. Awards will be presented. Awardees have been given a time. Congratulations to all.
SUNRISE MORNING SHOW REPORTING FROM DAWNY
On Wednesday, 3 November the Sunrise Morning Show will be filming from Dawny from 6:30am to 7:15am. All are welcome to come on down - would be great to have as many people as possible in Club gear.
TRAINING SET UP
Please return all equipment to storage area after YOUR session - Monday night, one of the teams left all their training balls in the pool.
Training commences Monday, 25 October. For allocations - check out our website under TRAINING SESSIONS. Teams are responsible for setting up and packing up equipment.
Dawny - balls for training and packed in kit bags of 6 and stored in the Swimming Club Room (Birchgrove end of the pool). Please only take balls out as a set and return neatly after training. It is each team's responsibility to keep this area tidy and clean. Training caps will not be available until the end of the week. Ask the lifeguards to open the room.
Leichhardt - balls are in training set bags, and caps on ring sets. These are stored in brick housing next to dive pool. Please ask lifeguard for padlock key to open, Ensure locked at end of session and key returned
Auburn & Ashfield - teams to take their own training kits.
TEAM KITS
Team kits can be collected from the Swimming Club Room. Team officials only to take these and only take your team's set. All kits are labelled. All kits have a set of caps (a couple are waiting on replacement caps - these are marked), 2 new match balls, hand sanitiser,pens & a whistle (some have nail clippers, clip board). Teams are responsible for the care of the equipment - each set is expensive to replace. Please ensure they are cared for.

MANAGERS' BRIEF
Many thanks to Josh Maxwell for putting together a Manager's Handbook. This will be made available on the members page. In support of this, we will be running a Managers Induction evening where the duites will be discussed, we will run through how to set up the pool, clocks, score, scoresheet etc. More details to come.
RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL CERTIFICATE
We are encouraging as many people as possible to complete their RSA certificate. In order to run the BBQ and bar, we need people with an RSA. A group of our 17 -24 year olds are completing a F2F course in the next 2 weeks plus 3 other TAFE certified subject, courtesy of a Govenment training initiative.
