I am excited to announce Martin Callaghan as Head of Coaching and Development. Martin is a former Balmain player and has returned from the premier Western Australian club (City Beach) where he ran their high-performance program. Martin remains the youngest Australian water polo Olympian, representing Australian in two Olympics (Moscow and Los Angeles) and captained the Australian team at the world championships. Martin is leading the management and co-ordination of all water polo at the club - developing programs and pathways for athletes from junior to senior grades and high performance elite teams and a program to 'coach-the-coaches'.
