A Free RSA course is being offered as a package - Summer Skills Program (https://www.nsw.gov.au/media-releases/skilling-for-recovery-fee-free-training) which is tailored for our membership.
The RSA course most likely will not happen this Saturday but in the week or so after, and we are trying to ensure that it won't impact on those who play Saturday afternoon, or be in the way of the HSC starting.
So the offer now is -
You will need to commit to the following:
- RSA Course (6 hours) to be run in the next 2- 3 weeks
- Another 3 Units which will be run in December after school, exams & schoolies - spread out over several days /nights
These courses will be:
- Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG)
- Hygiene - includes barista training and kitchen and service
- Customer experience
At the end of the program you will have 5 Units of the Certificate 3 Course in Hospitality - job ready for retail and hospitality (which are lacking trained workers at the moment).
This offer is FREE to our group. The cost would normally run into the '000s
So basically, in order to do the RSA course - you must be willing to commit to completing the other units.
