TIGERBALL @ ASHFIELD AQUATIC CENTRE 
A SKILLS WORKSHOP AND COMPETITION AIMED AT PLAYERS NEW TO WATER POLO OR SOME EXPERIENCE
WHO WE ARE
Our members belong to Australia's oldest water polo club.
Our historic club represents a unique combination of community, spirit, fun and sporting excellence.
OUR GOAL
Our goal is to see the joy of a child playing the "game of the ball in the water".
Tigerball identifies the game - it's different from the water polo played by adolescents and adults and it's adapted to the needs of kids.
We want to spread the love for water polo within the primary school kids, but also offering parents and supporters the opportunity to have some down time at the end of their busy week while getting passionate about our fast-growing and beautiful sport.
1. Season Start dates
- Tigerball commences Friday 2 February 2024
- Season consists of 7 sessions (seven Fridays)
- Tigerball will take a break on Friday 1 March 2024
- Tigerball Term 1 will end on Friday 22 March 2024 included
2. Cost
- $180 / child for Tigerball Term 1 not including pool entry I/2 PROGRAM $90
- players from any club and school can participate
- you do not need to enter as a team, individual players can register
3. Session Structure (Ashfield Aquatic Centre)
- Fridays from 5:00PM to 5:45PM
- 45 minutes each session
4. Skills
There will be an emphasis on skills and development.
5. Who can play
- All children 8 years and over are welcome
- It's required to be a competent swimmer who can swim at least 2x20m laps unassisted.
- Must be able to breaststroke kick
